A scholarship is a financial award that does not have to be repaid. Eligibility is based on criteria established by the donor or institution and may include need or merit.

Some Mizzou scholarships are automatic; students are evaluated for eligibility when they apply Mizzou. Others require students to complete the MU Annual Scholarship Application. The scholarship application deadline is Dec. 15 for first-time students and Feb. 1 for continuing and transfer students.
