Tiger Pantry‘s purpose is to provide food resources and education to members of the University of Missouri family in need while exemplifying the University’s four core values of Respect, Responsibility, Discovery, and Excellence.
Tiger Pantry was founded in 2012 and based off of the Full Circle Pantry at the University of Arkansas. A member of the MSA Executive Cabinet, worked with faculty and students to establish a similar pantry for the Mizzou community.
Tiger Pantry serves as an auxiliary of the Central and Northeast Missouri Food Bank, providing assistance to anyone affiliated with the university, including students, faculty, and staff. The pantry not only provides food for its clients, but also works to educate the campus on issues of food insecurity and the intersectionality of hunger.
