Just south of Jesse Hall sits the Mizzou Alumni Association’s latest contribution to the campus landscape. Traditions Plaza’s outdoor stage is designed for concerts, movies, spirit rallies, classes and informal gatherings. The sale of the plaza’s 13,348 inscribed bricks will pay for the $1.5 million construction costs, and further sales could raise about $2 million more for preserving Mizzou traditions. The plaza was dedicated Oct. 24, 2014, as part of Mizzou’s 175th anniversary.
