Located in Parker Hall, the MU Counseling Center provides mental health services to MU students at no additional cost. The Counseling Center offers group and individual counseling and outreach programming to help students effectively maintain healthy relationships, cope with emotions, heal from pain and embrace joy. The Counseling Center provides crisis-intervention services during business hours. A student who is unable to cope alone is encouraged to call 573-882-6601 or come into the center to speak with an on-call counselor right away. Any faculty or staff member concerned about the emotional well-being of an MU student is welcome to call 573-882-6601 and speak to the on-call counselor, who will help find an effective way to approach and support the student.
