The Freshman Interest Group program in the MU Department of Residential Life is designed to help first-time college students find their bearings at MU both academically and socially. Members of a FIG live near one other in residence halls, have roommates with similar academic interests and take classes with the same core group of students during the first semester FIG members also are part of the surrounding Learning Community.
