Full time equivalency, for FTE, is a measure of a worker’s or student’s level of enrollment or involvement. The status appears on the job information PeopleSoft page as one of the following:

• Full-time — the position has an FTE of 1.00 and standard hours are 40
• Part-time — the position has an FTE less than 1.00 and standard hours are fewer than 40
