A peer adviser is a Residential Life student staff member who lives in the same residence hall community as the FIG he or she facilitates. Peer advisers serve as the primary educators and resources for FIGs. They work to directly enhance residents’ knowledge of an assigned topic area both inside the classroom and within the residence halls.
