A “swipe” refers to the number of meal credits on MU Dining Services meal plan. One “swipe” of an ID card at a dining facility is equal to a meal in a regular dining hall. Other food-service facilities on campus may charge partial swipes for individual food items.
The holder of a meal plan can use meal swipes in any of four all–you–care–to–eat or six à la carte residential dining locations. In the all–you–care–to–eat facilities, one meal is deducted from the account upon entry. At takeout locations, each item is priced in dollars that are converted to meals at the register.
