The TOEFL is a standardized exam, administered by the nonprofit Educational Testing Service (ETS), that measures English-language proficiency in reading, listening, speaking and writing. International students are required to take either the TOEFL or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam for admission to Mizzou.
